Inspiring Excellence in Early Years
Regional Improvement for Standards and Excellence
Each network is led by a designated Lead School with a proven track record of sustained excellence in early years education. Lead Schools support partner schools through professional dialogue, the sharing of effective practice and resources, peer-to-peer visits and opportunities to observe high-quality Reception teaching and leadership in action.
We are delighted and proud to have been selected as a RISE Reception Network Lead School. Our network will support schools across Solihull, Warwickshire and Worcestershire, creating opportunities for collaboration, professional growth and continuous improvement in early years provision across these regions.
RISE Reception Network Lead School
The RISE Reception Network Programme is a Department for Education initiative in England and forms part of the government’s Best Start in Life strategy and the universal Regional Improvement for Standards and Excellence (RISE) offer. The programme brings together school-led, locally delivered networks of primary schools with a shared focus on enhancing the quality of Reception provision.
Through collaboration and professional learning, the programme aims to strengthen evidence-informed practice, develop leadership capacity and ensure that more children secure a strong foundation for future learning by the end of the Reception year.
